Fibroblast Plasma Lift

Fibroblast Plasma Lift, also known as soft surgery, is a revolutionary skin tightening procedure that is an alternative to invasive surgical cosmetic procedures with reduced recovery time and without potential complications that can arise before and after surgery. Alternative to injection, laser treatments and last for years. See Instant result.

In layman's terms, Fibroblast Plasma Lift is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a device fitted with a tiny needle to deliver heat to the skin to tighten and firm it. Using an electrical spark to heat tiny columns of the skin, skin fibers are minimized, and collagen production is boosted, leading to the tightening and removal of excess skin. In technical terms, an arc causes superficial damage to the upper dermal layer of the skin and transmits heat to the lower levels of the skin. This causes the new skin to generate collagen and elastin fiber that we lose as we age.

Fibroblast Plasma Lift removes or reduces fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, uneven coloration, sagging skin on your neck, tummy or under arms. The results are only comparable to plastic surgery, and in most areas, are permanent.

Please note: It's not ideal for those with darker skin types. Risk of Hyperpigmentation

How Long Does it Last?

The results are permanent, although it does not stop your natural aging process, you should still see lasting results for years as they would with cosmetic surgery. For longer lasting results you should maintain a healthy lifestyle, avoid smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure.

Am I a good candidate? If you have one of the following you are not a good candidate:

having a current outbreak of the Herpes Simplex Virus (oral cold sores) - Valtex must be taken 3 days prior to the treatment and for 4 days afterwards for lip area treatments only;

have dark skin (Fitzpatrick scale V and above) - these skin types have a much higher risk of hyper and hypo pigmentation;

on a current chemo treatment plan;

diabetic or have a healing disorder (we may ask for a doctor's clearance);

have issues with lymphatic drainage (lymph collects under the skin in pockets, usually beneath the eyes);

have viral infections and/or diseases, are sick, or are on antibiotics;

suffer from epilepsy;

have an organ transplant;

have skin irritations or psoriasis near the treatment area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.);

are prone to keloid scars (raised, red scars);

have had Botox in the past 3 weeks;

have used Accutane/Retin-A in the past year;

have eyelash extensions - these must be removed prior to any work near the eyes;

under the age of 18 (clients may be asked to provide proof of age).

The Procedure

It is best to arrive with clean skin without any make-up on the treatment area. A numbing cream is applied on the treatment area for 30 minutes. When the treatment area is sufficiently numb the session begins. You may feel some heat in the treatment area, which may be uncomfortable and slightly painful (equivalent to sunburn discomfort). Treatment time is usually between 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.

Immediately after the treatment, you may experience a burning sensation, but it should only last a few hours, and your skin therapist will apply a cooling gel to the treatment area and provide you with thorough aftercare instructions to ensure that you see the best results.

You will see immediate results after your treatment, but the best results will be seen after three weeks. If you require additional treatments it can be done at 8-12-week intervals.
